Comments for the video on the ADMT Blog

1. Compare the two types of setup and state reasons why one of the setup is preferred.

Both of the setups are the same except one of the setups is more comfortable , spacious and less troublesome for the worker. With the worker being more comfortable, his work quality would be better and would enjoy going to work.

2. What are the area of considerations when designing a conducive and comfortable workplace?

Some considerations that need to be considered is the amount of space, whether there is enough space for all the stuff to make the area more comfortable. The style of working of the worker himself must be taken into consideration to know what would make the worker more comfortable. The budget must also be considered.

3. State the reasons why these considerations are important.
All of theses considerations are important. If the budget is not considered, the person might overspend not leaving any more money. The style of working is also important. A table designed for a worker with a specific style would be better than a table with a worker working at a table without his style of working put into consideration. The space is also important as it would be bad if the table and everything is bought but when it is put at the workplace, there is no space or it becomes very cramp

3 Questions

3.What are some of the problems that the elderly are facing?
Before we can even do anything we have to find out what the problem is.

2.How can everyday machines be modified to make it easier for the elderly?
I believe this question is important as some elderly live alone and have some problems working with everyday technology. An elderly friendly phone has already been invented so why can't there be more items that are elderly friendly.

1.
Is it possible to have a larger door and a ramp leading up to a room of a flat so an elderly with a wheelchair would have more ease to enter the house?
This question is important as I have seen this problem before happening. My grandfather who is wheelchair bound has some problems going into the house when he comes back from the hospital. If there is a bigger entrance and a ramp, wheelchair bound elderly would have more ease moving into the flat.
